What Sets the Conspit Ares Platinum Bundle + 290GP Formula + QR apart?
-
Stability and Torque That Mean Business With an 18Nm motor inside a 7.9kg base, this unit offers strong, consistent output without heating up or losing feel. The dual skewed pole design keeps torque curves smooth, and user feedback points out how well it holds detail under lateral load. It's designed to soak up punishment from long stints and still deliver sharp, informative feedback lap after lap.
-
Formula Wheel That's Ready for Anything The 290mm carbon-fiber wheel balances tactile inputs with ergonomic spacing. Between the 12 RGB buttons, dual clutches, encoders, and 18-LED telemetry ring, there’s enough functionality for any sim discipline. What makes it stand out is the feel—users say the rocker cams have a satisfying engagement, and the wheel doesn’t flex under pressure, even in fast-paced racing where inputs come thick and fast.
-
Quick Release Built Like the Real Thing The Conspit QR doesn’t just look good—it’s tight, secure, and built with a clip-and-ball locking system that beats typical single-ball setups. The result is a consistent lock-in that won’t rotate or click loose, even under aggressive maneuvers. It's got that 'click in and forget it' feel, and it doesn’t require any constant adjustments to stay snug.
-
Software That Works Without the Guessing Game Conspit Link 2.0 continues to get props for being usable without a 60-page manual. It’s quick to detect hardware, and all settings—from LED mapping to encoder calibration—are laid out clearly. Sim racers who like to dial in different car profiles appreciate the profile management and smooth firmware update process.

Conspit Ares Platinum Bundle + 290GP Formula + QR Compatibility
The Conspit Ares Platinum 18Nm base and 290GP Formula wheel are built for Windows PC setups and connect via USB 3.0. They use the Conspit CDP quick release system with a standard 50mm PCD bolt pattern, making the hardware compatible with a wide range of formula-style QR hubs and cockpits. M6 and M8 mounting holes on both the bottom and sides provide installation flexibility across motion platforms and static rigs. The system is designed strictly for PC and does not support console connectivity.
When it comes to games, this bundle runs smoothly across major sim titles like iRacing, Assetto Corsa, ACC, rFactor 2, and Automobilista 2. Since it communicates through USB using Windows drivers and the Conspit Link 2.0 interface, game recognition is plug-and-play with most modern sims. However, no compatibility with PlayStation or Xbox is advertised, and the unit won’t work with DriveHub adapters. This is a PC-first bundle through and through.
