The Simagic NEO-X 350W Drift Steering Wheel is designed first and foremost for the Simagic direct-drive ecosystem, mounting to Neo X–compatible wheelbases with native support for its RGB buttons, encoders, and shiftlights. With the Neo X hub it offers wireless or USB connectivity, and an optional Maglink cable opens the door to use with other brands’ bases that accept standard bolt patterns and USB wheel inputs. It’s not intended for old console-style “wheel and pedals in one box” units, but for proper DD or belt bases with a detachable rim.
Hardware-wise, the control layout and electronics play nicely with any base that can treat the Neo X hub as a USB input device via Maglink, while Simagic bases handle everything natively through their ecosystem. That means it pairs best with Simagic’s own wheelbases for full RGB and shiftlight integration, yet can be adapted into mixed-brand rigs where the base offers a standard hub and PC recognition. Extremely budget or toy-class wheelbases without a detachable hub are outside its scope.
On the platform side, the steering wheel itself is essentially an input device; game and platform support depend on the wheelbase it’s mounted to.
