Side Mount Compatibility
The Side Mount is specifically built to fit popular wheelbases from Fanatec and Simagic. It works with Fanatec's CSL DD, ClubSport DD, DD1, and DD2 models, as well as Simagic’s Alpha, Alpha Mini, and Alpha U. For additional versatility, rotating the profiles and plates by 90 degrees makes it compatible with the Conspit Ares wheelbase. However, this mount isn’t compatible with wheelbases outside the Fanatec and Simagic ecosystems, limiting its use for racers with other brands.
Available in two sizes, the 500mm version fits cockpits with 460 to 510mm spacing between the upright profiles, while the 580mm version accommodates cockpits between 540 and 590mm. It’s a versatile option for racers with T-slot cockpits, but isn’t ideal for non-standard or heavily customized rigs that fall outside these dimensions.
As this mount is purely a hardware component, it doesn't interact with gaming platforms directly. It is designed for PC sim racing setups and will be compatible with all PC-based sim racing titles like Assetto Corsa Competizione, iRacing, and rFactor 2 when used with a compatible wheelbase. It does not support console platforms like Xbox or PlayStation, making it a specialized choice for dedicated PC racers.
