Simagic’s pre-event reveal on October 15 included their new P700 pedal set, rounding out a trio of major hardware announcements (alongside the Zeus Formula wheel and Alpha Evo Ultra base). With the ADACSimRacing Expo Dortmund slated to open October 17, the P700 is already turning heads for promising serious performance in an entry-level offering.
P700 Pedals: Entry-Level Price, High-End Features
Though targeted at newcomers or budget-minded sim racers, the P700 pedals are loaded with premium features. The brake pedal uses a 150 kg load cell with 35 adjustment steps, ensuring that even subtle modulation is possible. The throttle is built with a hall-effect sensor, avoiding any click points or friction typical of simpler potentiometer designs.
The P700 is highly adjustable: you can modify height, angle, and spacing, and it supports the P-HPR (haptic pedal reactor) for deeper tactile feedback. The construction is steel and aluminum, giving weight and solidity to the pedal set. It also supports multiple mounting options—whether you’re mounting to a cockpit frame or directly to carpet/floor setups. Each kit comes with spare parts for tuning brake and throttle feel, making it easier to fine-tune your experience out of the box.
With the P700 pedals, Simagic seems poised to bridge the gap between budget and serious sim hardware. They aren’t just for beginners—they’re trying to bring more racers into their ecosystem without sacrificing quality. At the Expo, I’ll be watching for real-world feel, ease of adjustment, and how the P-HPR integration works in practice.
